#GivingTuesday is a global movement of giving in a world steeped in consumerism. We have the most fantastic volunteers and community members who make Neighborhood Clinic a reality, and this year, in addition to asking for financial donations, we’re inviting our community to help us put together some flu survival kits. During flu season, it’s tough enough to avoid getting sick, let alone if you live outside, don’t have stable housing, and are often transient. We’re asking for cough drops, emergen-c, non-caffeinated tea, tissues, and a handwritten note of encouragement so we can assemble kits for our patients, many who are experiencing homelessness.
Email info@neighborhoodclinictacoma.org to arrange a donation delivery, or drop them off when we are open on Monday and Thursday evenings starting at 5pm.
Feel free to tag us on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook @NeighborhoodClinic with a picture of your donation, and don’t forget to use #GivingTuesday to help us generate momentum.
Thanks for giving the gift of health with us this season.
